We are a privately owned independent service station and repair workshop located at 349 Belgrave-Gembrook Road in Emerald. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service that goes beyond your expectation, by doing so we have built a large base of repeat clientele. Our goal is for you to be happy and satisfied every time you visit our premises.

Thanks to our shared experience of over 60 years in all aspects of automotive repairs and servicing, our technical knowledge is second to none. There’s nothing our team can’t do for you.

Due to our fully equipped workshop, extensive experience and a caring, happy work environment we are able to work efficiently and cost effectively for all our customers. Our History

While we re-opened our doors in 2009, Auto Plus More’s family business history actually extends back over 100 years in the Emerald region.

Barney Hogan’s grandfather owned the Coffee Palace, and his son, Barney’s father Kevin Hogan was a fuel distributor from 1945 and eventually built the service station where Auto Plus More stands today. The station burnt down in 1963, but was rebuilt and passed through various owners before Barney bought it back in 2009.

Barney started his career in automotive repairs as an apprentice mechanic in 1974. He then went on to work at various mines around the world, working on truck and heavy machinery maintenance for 25 years. In 1985 Barney spent a year working on race cars in Europe, and he has been involved with various racing teams for over 40 years.

The team working alongside Barney share his passion for excellent customer service and are all here to help with what ever our customers need.
